The view was amazing, especially of the famous mountain peak. The location was convenient, providing easy access to hiking routes and the city center. the beds were comfortable and the facilities were of a good standard, considering the price.

This hotel, nestled up on the quiet hillside, offers an unbeatable view of the majestic Matterhorn. The rooms, adorned with elegant local touches of woodwork, are both cozy and spacious, with the added bonus of a nice balcony to enjoy the scenery. The attentive staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast, featuring fresh fruits, is a delightful way to start the day.

All was perfect during our stay.

We had a luxurious and homely experience. Our junior suite had a fine view of the mountains, and the spa was always inviting and uncrowded. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of delicious options. We appreciated the convenience of purchasing drinks on-site at reasonable prices. The hosts were helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Our overall experience at Alpenlodge ranked among our top five hotels ever visited. we highly recommend this hotel for its really good comfort and warmth.
